The clubhouse, the green, the first tee, the boats, the team on a good day. A phone snap is perfectly good enough.

I turn it into card artwork and send it back the next day. Free, with nothing owed if you go no further.

Who it is for

Bowls clubs, golf clubs, sailing and rugby clubs, Rotary groups — anywhere there is a clubhouse with the kettle on and a few people quietly keeping the whole thing going.

You already know exactly who your cards are going to. The member who has not missed a Saturday in thirty years. The volunteer who cuts the green before anyone else is up. The sponsor who keeps the lights on, the club down the road you have played every spring since anyone can remember, and the committee who somehow all turn up again each January.

A shop-bought card with a robin on it says Merry Christmas. One with your own clubhouse on the front says this is our place, and you are part of it. Those are the ones that go up on the mantelpiece and stay there.
